Tour Itinerary

Step 1 Semarang Port to Borobudur Temple

  • 07.00 to 08.00 (timing depends on the ship’s schedule) Your ship docks at Semarang Port, and our team will pick you up in front of the exit gate with your name on the signboard and depart as soon as possible directly to Borobudur Temple, located in Magelang Regency. 

Step 2 Borobudur Tour

  • 11.00: Arrive at Borobudur, get the entrance ticket, then walk through the beautiful gardens, walking up to reach the courtyard around Borobudur Temple. We can watch the statues in niches with different hand positions from 4 different angles, see on the open basement a piece of relief from the Mahakaramawibangga story (stories that contain the teachings of cause-and-effect stories), and take pictures with the whole temple background.
  • Then climbing to the second level up, where we can watch the stories of Buddha life depicted on the galleries of the temple, and then to the third level, the higher level, which symbolizes the perfect life, we can watch 72 stupas, where each inside there is a Buddha. That level is arranged in a circular model, with the big one as the mother stupa.

Step 3 Borobudur Temple to Semarang Port

  • 13.00, then going down back to start a point, and before leaving the temple, going to a local restaurant or going back to Semarang Port. 
  • 14.00: going back to Semarang, passing through the same route, making a photo stop to take pictures if the time permits.
  • 16.00: Arrive back at Semarang Port, end of service
