Semarang
Semarang is the capital of Central Java province, has important role in the 14th century, has tourist objects such as Sam Poo Kong, also known as Gedung Batu Temple, the oldest Chinese temple, built at 1400, and Lawang Sewu thousand-door building that was the head office of the Dutch East Indies Railway Co. and is owned by the national railway company Kereta Api Indonesia.
Blenduk Church is a Protestant church located at Kota Lama (the old city where we can see the colonials’ buildings) in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. Built in 1753, it is the oldest church in the province, and Kampung Pelangi (Rainbow Village) is where you can see the houses painted in multiple colors.
