Timang Beach at a glance
Timang Island served as a fishing ground for local fishermen who sought lobsters, located in Tepus village in the Gunungkidul regency on the southern area of Yogyakarta Province.
The area gained further recognition when this site was chosen as a filming location for the South Korean reality television series “Running Man.”

Tour Itinerary
Step 1 Yogyakarta to Timang Beach
- 07.00 – leave hotel in Jogjakarta and drive to Gunung Kidul
- 10.00 – arrive at the gate of the village, where the visitors should take a jeep 4×4 to pass rocky route to Beach
- 12.00 – on location you could choose, with one you prefer by cable cart or Cable Bridge to reach island passing over Indian Ocean
- 14.00 – going back to start point and stop at local restaurant where you can at taste local restaurant that serves lobsters that have been caught on the island of Timang in the morning
Step 2 Timang Beach return to Yogyakarta
- 15.00 – On the way to Jogjakarta stop over at Pengger Pines Forest
- 16.00 – leave Pengger Pines Forest to drive back to Jogjakarta
- 17.00 – arrive at hotel end of service
