Step 1 Semarang Port to Borobudur temple
- 07.00 – (or follow the cruise ship schedule) meeting service for our team, and then drive directly to Borobudur temple, which needs approx. 2.5 hours, passing through the tollway and city routes to the district of Magelang.
Step 2 Borobudur Temple Tour
- 10.00: Arrive at Borobudur, get the entrance ticket, and visitors will be grouped and directed by a local shared tour guide, walking through the beautiful gardens and up to reach the courtyard around Borobudur Temple. We can watch the statues in niches with different hand positions from 4 different angles, see a piece of relief from the Mahakaramawibangga story (stories that contain the teachings of cause-and-effect stories), and take pictures of the whole temple background. Then climbing to the second level up, where we can watch the stories of Buddha life as Prince Siddhartha Gautama, well-known as a prophet of Buddhism, is depicted on the galleries of the temple. and then to the third level, the higher level, we can watch 72 stupas that are arranged in a circular model, with the big one as the mother stupa in the center.
- 13.00, then going down back to the starting point, leaving the temple, going to a local restaurant, or going back to Semarang Port.
Step 3 From Borobudur Temple to Semarang Port
- 14.00: going back to Semarang, passing through the same route, making a photo stop to take pictures if the time permits.
- 16.00: Arrive back at Semarang Port, end of service
